I loved being a D3 athlete! I was very fortunate to go to a school that I loved and fit into right away. The environment was incredibly competitive, athletically and academically, and it ended up being exactly where I wanted to be. During my time at UWL, we were not only successful on the field, but I also made friendships that I will have for a lifetime. Our team was a family, and I was able to thrive in that environment. I not only graduated a better athlete, but even more importantly, a better person, and I feel that my experience as a D3 athlete has set me up very well for my future.
