Guidance That
Empowers.

We started YD3 to champion the student-athletes who chart their own course, make it happen, and make a difference along the way. Those who bet on themselves, not the bandwagon.

Our story

Born from lived
experience.

YD3 was founded on a simple truth. The college recruiting journey can be life-changing, yet too many student-athletes and families don’t know the right questions to ask or steps to take. Without trusted guidance, talented student-athletes often choose schools that aren’t the best fit.

Our founders knew that had to change. They saw firsthand how mentorship, professional guidance, and insight can help student-athletes grow and develop, compete with confidence, navigate decisions, and build a strong foundation from which to flourish.

As former college athletes and parents of college athletes we recognize that no matter the sport, the most important team is family. We demystify college recruiting, providing guidance to families navigating the process and seeking answers to the questions that matter most.

While our name speaks to our D3 bias, we applaud the goal to play in college, at any level, in any division. We also believe no one should compromise their education and that every recruit deserves the opportunity to Play, Learn, and Thrive.

Our purpose and brand promise is to provide the clarity and direction, experience and guidance to optimize the recruiting journey so that a student-athlete’s commitment decision is one that sets them up for great success in college and in life.

Mission

To help student-athletes turn ambition into achievement, and achievement into impact.

“YD3 confronts a fractured college recruiting system that leads many families astray. Student-athletes work hard to achieve their athletic and academic success. We engineered an approach to connect that passion and commitment to desired outcomes that reward and endure.”
— Jennifer Karras, CEO and Founder
Core Values

Balance

Athletic success matters, and so does life beyond the game. We prepare student-athletes for both.

Connection

We build trusted relationships that make hard decisions clearer and the journey more meaningful.

Growth

We foster curiously, connection, and continuous development because that's what drives achievement long after the final season.

Insight

We pair science and scholarship with mentorship to help student-athletes focus on what goals matter most to them.

Integrity

We lead with character, honor the process, and do the right thing when no one is watching.

team

Built to win now and in the future.

Our team knows college recruiting inside and out, because most of us have lived it. We also know playing in college offers incredible growth. That's why we're part of YD3: to improve the recruiting experience, focus on outcomes, and showcase Division III, the best-kept secret in college athletics.
