Men’s Lacrosse

With 236 programs projected for the 2027 season, Division III men’s lacrosse combines speed, skill and teamwork with a level of competition that rewards every possession.

Tufts stands at the epicenter of Division III’s recent championship story. Under head coach Casey D’Annolfo, the Jumbos captured their third consecutive national title in 2026, defeating RIT, 17-11. The previous season, Tufts went undefeated at 23-0 and set an NCAA Division III championship-game record with 25 goals in a 25-8 victory over Dickinson.

Success is broader than any one program. Alongside runner-up RIT, Wesleyan and Middlebury advanced to the national semifinals. Dickinson, Gettysburg, and Salisbury remain part of a deep group of programs that regularly challenge for national recognition.

In 2026, 149 Division III men’s lacrosse student-athletes were named USILA Scholar All-Americans, recognizing academic achievement alongside their accomplishments on the field. Among them, Colorado College’s Roman Tacelli graduated with a 3.88 GPA while helping the Tigers reach the NCAA Division III Tournament for the first time since 2023.

D3 men’s lacrosse is where student-athletes develop their game, their academic interests, and the skills they carry into what comes next. Championships matter, but so does everything built along the way.
